Heritage Open Day St John's will marking Heritage Open Day on Saturday 16th September. In the morning, 10-11.30, there will be a 'Family Windows Workshop' with crafts and activities themed around the stained glass windows. There will be an open afternoon from 2.00-5.30 for visitors to explore the church and information about the church's history will be displayed by The Ranmoor Society. The Ranmoor Ringers will be offering tours of the ringing room and our organists will be giving organ demonstrations. Refreshments will be available. The day will conclude with a talk by Dr Mary Grover exploring 'Who really built St John's?' from 5.30-6.30. Mary will share some of the stories of the building of St John's and the men that built it.
