Mission Area

We at St John's are in a mission partnership with the following churches:

St Mark's, Broomhill and St Mary's , Walkley
We continue to work with the other churches in our Mission Area: St Mark’s Broomhill and St Mary’s Walkley. Matthew our vicar takes the third Sunday morning service at St Mary’s each month and is a governor of St Mary’s School. The three parishes joined together for the Living in Love and Faith course in the autumn, the lent study courses and work closely on issues around dementia.

Why a weekend at home?
This Weekend at Home is the chance to for us to get together in an informal way and build relationships across the 3 parishes. Benefits include meeting together in comfortable surroundings, provision for all ages and abilities, hospitality, and fun!
