Parih-Centre-2

Ranmoor Parish Centre is a registered charity that was established in the early 1980s.   The Charity changed to a CIO Foundation on the 22nd June 2023 charity  number 1203685.

The Centre provides facilities for many regular and one-off events, its customers include faith groups, voluntary organisations, private individuals, public, private sector organisations and individuals.

Our hire rates are shown here.  We are able to offer a special rate for children's parties (conditions apply) and,  in recognition of the Centre's purposes, for lower hire rates apply for registered charities or if you live in or are on the Electoral Roll of the Parish of St John the Evangelist, Ranmoor, Sheffield.

You can also see from our list of regular users that the Centre provides excellent facilities for a wide range of social, educational and community activities. To find our more about how to join these groups please use the contact details provided for each group.

The Centre is regularly booked for family occasions (such as christenings, children's parties, lunches and wakes) as well as meetings and charity events.  However, the Centre is not considered suitable for wedding parties or 18/21st birthday parties.

There are three rooms available to hire, along with a large kitchen, in the main building.  Rooms can be hired individually or together.  Hiring the full main building of the Centre would mean that no other hirers are in the building during your event.  We no longer have a piano available in the main building.

The Annexe, which is a self-contained building has a further room and  kitchenette area.  Direct access is available from the Annexe to the rear lawn.  A piano is available in the Annexe.

Both the front and rear lawns are also available for people to enjoy during the period of hire.

Many local groups regularly use the Centre and this website provides information about:

  • our regular users.
  • provides a calendar showing when rooms are available.
  • the standard hire rates.

We are always keen to hear from new groups who are looking for a venue to meet.
