Inclusive Church

We are delighted to be part of the Inclusive Church network within the Church of England. Inclusive Church is a movement of churches that are committed to welcoming and affirming all people in the life of the church.
At the heart of our faith is the belief that every person is created in the image of God and loved by God. We want our church to be a place where people feel safe, valued, and able to be themselves.
We welcome and affirm people of all:
* ages and backgrounds
* genders and gender identities
* sexual orientations
* ethnicities and cultures
* abilities and disabilities
* mental health experiences
* economic circumstances
Our commitment to inclusion shapes our worship, our community life, and our leadership. We try to use language and practices that include rather than exclude, and we continue to listen and learn as we grow together in faith.
We know we are on a journey and we are committed to becoming a church where all can belong and flourish.
As a parish church just outside Sheffield city centre, we serve a diverse community, and we see that diversity as a gift.
Whoever you are, wherever you are, you are welcome here.
