Social Justice Youth Group: If you are aged between 13-17, and want to learn more about how you can be a part of God’s plan for a better world, please join us for the first of many sessions to explore how young people can make a difference to issues of social justice. More information: Youth Group

Food Bank Box: We have a food bank collection box to put food in to support the Burngreave food bank. Our food bank box is now located in the corridor of the Parish Centre.
Baby Basics: Baby Basics is a charity that supports new mothers and families who are struggling to meet the financial and practical burden of looking after a new baby. We would welcome any donations of new baby wool for the box in the office. We have volunteers who are happy to knit clothing and blankets for new born babies.

Parish Magazine out now! The latest issue of our Parish magazine, ‘Inspire’, is out now at a cost of £1. Copies are available in church or from the parish office. If you would like to have your copy posted to you then this can also be arranged. Please contact Claire in our Parish office.
Toddler & Baby Groups: Thursdays (in term time) from 10-11.30am at the Parish centre. All children from birth to pre-school welcome. New children, parents and helpers always welcome. Safe, carpeted room which is great for babies and crawlers. £1.00 per child includes a drink and a biscuit for parent/carers and children. 50p for each additional child. Paradise Road: Gillian Stanley is organising a trip to see our very own James Stone (Songman and sometime Christmas Extravaganza compѐre) who is having his new play, Paradise Road, performed in a professional production at Sheffield Library Theatre on April 21st. When a London couple open their home to asylum seekers from Iraq, strong suspicions and dark doubts begin to breed– is anyone who they appear to be? The play is presented in partnership with Assist Sheffield, the charity supporting destitute asylum seekers in our city. Christian Aid: The Christian Aid garden party will be on Saturday 19th May 2018 here in the Parish Centre. We will have stalls with Cakes, Books, Tombola, Indian and Spanish snacks, Fairtrade, Plants, Activities for Children and Tea and Cakes. Janet and Malcolm are appealing for people to help on the door to door collection between 13th and 19th May. If you are able to help please let Janet or Malcolm Anker or one of the wardens know.

Saturday 30th June – An Afternoon tea.
Saturday 14th July – Coach trip to Whitby and Robin hoods Bay. The cost will be £12 per adult and £6 for children. A sign up sheet is in the corridor.
Saturday 21st July – Bishops Garden Party – St Johns will be providing refreshments as we have done in previous years to support the garden party and the Bishops chosen charities. More details to follow.
What happens in our Parish Centre? The Ranmoor Parish Centre is used by a wide variety of groups, meetings and celebrations. Information about the regular users and details about the facilities available at the Centre can be found on the Parish Centre website. Groups who regularly use the Centre include yoga, Pilates, art appreciation, local history, uniformed groups and singing for children and adults. If you are interested in hiring our facilities, please get in touch.
