What's happening at St John's?
A warm welcome to our website. Our range of services and events mean that all are welcomed unconditionally,whatever age or background, and will find a Christian home that is growing together.
As a growing church family our aim is to reflect the Sheffield Diocesan vision; to be a part of growing a sustainable network of Christ-like, lively and diverse Christian communities in every place which are effective in making disciples and in seeking to transform our society and God’s world.
Morning prayer at 8.30am every day except on Fridays & Sundays This short (20mins) service takes place in the side chapel of church. A time to begin the day with prayer and reflection. All welcome.

A Service of Light & Hope-30th October 7.30pm- This service is to remember those we continue to love but see no more. If you would like someone remembered by name during the service please put it in on the sheet at the back of church.
BABY & TODDLER GROUP - Our baby and toddler group has started back following the summer break. All parents / carers and pre-school children are welcome. We meet on Thursdays in term time in the Parish Centre and we have separate areas for babies and toddlers. Cost is £1 per child and 50p for additional children. For more information please contact Claire in the Parish Office.
Inspire Magazine- Contributions are invited for our seasonal ‘Church on Holiday’ feature. If you have visited maybe a church or a place of Christian interest whilst on holiday and feel inspired to write an article about it, please Email it to the editorial group at email@example.com or speak to Revd Neil.

NEW OPENING TIMES AT PARISH OFFICE- with immediate effect the times when the Parish office will be open will be Mondays 9am-5pm, Wednesdays 9am-12.30pm and Thursdays 9am-12.30pm.The office will no longer be open on Tuesdays & Fridays.

Wednesday Lunch Club - The Wednesday Lunch has now stopped for the summer break. We will start back again on Wednesday 9th September 2015. All are welcome. Please come along to enjoy a delicious lunch. Transport can be arranged. Please ring the Parish Office (2301199) to book.
Burngreave food bank - Did you know that as a church we support the Burngreave food bank? There is a blue box at the back of church that can be used to put items donated in. (non-perishable goods please).

Parish Magazine Out now!- The October issue of our Parish magazine ‘Inspire’ is out now at the new price of £1.Copies are available in church or from the parish office.
Toddler & Baby Groups - Thursdays (in term time) from 10-11.30am at the Parish centre. All children from birth to pre-school welcome. New children, parents and helpers always welcome. Safe, carpeted room which is great for babies and crawlers. £1.00 per child includes a drink and a biscuit for parent/carers and children. 50pmfor additional child. What happens in our Parish Centre?
The Ranmoor Parish Centre is used by a wide variety of groups, meetings and celebrations. Information about the regular users and details about the facilities available at the Centre can be found on the Parish Centre website. Groups who regularly use the Centre include yoga, Pilates, art appreciation, local history, uniformed groups and singing for children and adults. If you are interested in hiring our facilities, please get in touch.

Each week we produce a ‘News sheet’ that contains the service information, readings, gives the names of people to be remembered in our prayers and provides information about forthcoming events.
